Francesa Chia
Co-founder of GoGet, an on demand workforce platform powered by a community of verified people, called GoGetters, to do tasks. I am passionate about the future of work and believe business operations will be more modular and connected to a community of workers. Everyday at GoGet, we see companies are already adjusting the way they work, as they use a flexible workforce to do core operations for the business without incurring full time costs. No longer do businesses have to incur full time costs of a hire, but rather they are able to stay lean and be flexible with the city as their teammates to do work on a task by task basis. Prior to GoGet, I graduated with a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and worked as a Management Consultant at Boston Consulting Group for 4 years. I was really fortunate to have cases all over Southeast Asia and Australia while I focused on Industrial Goods, Telecommunications, Media and Technology, Public Sector and Organisation. My consulting background taught me about business models and built my analytical mind. I’ve always been inspired by social enterprises because they redefined traditional ways of doing business and running a non-profit. At GoGet, we hope to redefine the way work traditionally looks like while achieving productivity.
